How To Change Your Favicon!

Blogger come with default blogger icon. You can change this icon by your own made icon.

There are number of sources for creating and hosting  Favicon.ico in Web. You can also create icon using your blog logo. Me provide you two methods to change your favicon just in case the first step might not success.

So, this is tutorial that you looking for.

How we gonna change Blogger favicon?

This is the first method and all the simple steps that you need to know ;

1.Go to Layout --> edit Html 

2.Find this <b:skin><![CDATA[ tag 

3.Add below code just before it

<link href='URL of favicon.ico' rel='icon' type='image/x-icon'/>

<link href='URL of favicon.ico' rel='shortcut icon'/>

4.Change "URL of favicon.ico" with Your Icon URL

5.Save template

The second method is using direct host icon provider. How we gonna do it? Just upload your icon or you image in this website. http://www.iconj.com/

You can adjust your icon sharpen level there and remember, me suggest your image is in 50 x 50 in size. Just adjust it with Microsoft Office Picture Manager for Windows 7.

Simply upload your icon and you will get the codes just like this.

Then, all you need to do is,

1.Go to Layout --> edit Html 

2.Hit CTRL+F button and Find this </HEAD> tag 

3.Add the code that you got below the </HEAD> tag

Save your template!
